When working out, where do you put your focus on? To a lot of girls the answer is clear: my legs and booty. There’s nothing wrong with that but we shouldn’t neglect other important parts. What about a back workout? You may be 20, 30 or 40 and you complain about back pain after some hours of walking, don’t you? Has someone already told you that your posture is miserable? The reason for both scenarios is your weak back. Your muscles need to be trained a lot. In today’s world we spend most of our time sitting, sitting in school, in the bureau and even at home in front of the TV. Is that what human beings are made for? You know the answer. We are supposed to run and hunt our dinner. Now that we can go into the next grocery store instead of hunting our meals we got so lazy. And our back suffers under that lack of activity.
I really hope that you think a bit more about your daily (!) activity level. Working out three times a week is great but think about your daily experiences.
I always suffered from back pain. That’s why I owe this workout to our strong and beautiful backs. Here’s the HIIT back workout:
45 sec jumping jacks
15 sec rest
45 sec superman
15 sec rest
45 sec burpees
15 sec rest
45 sec table top – lifting left leg + right arm
15 sec rest
45 sec high knees on the spot
15 sec rest
45 sec plank
15 sec rest
You do the HIIT workout twice. If you still have power, do a third circuit.
Superman means lying face down and lifting your straight arms and legs. Hold that position or pulse.
Table top – lifting left leg + right arm: You can hold that position or bring the knee and elbow together and lift again.
The rest is pretty self-explanatory. I really hope you like the back workout and start noticing an improvement. Always care about your back!
